RV Adventure Days 15-17

Drive, drive, drive...truly a DDD (dumb dog day). On Tuesday, we drove from Corning to a KOA at Lost Hills, CA. This is an insane truck stop with fast food restaurants and stores that ONLY sell junk food and alcohol. Good thing that I have my dog food and bones, and don't indulge in that unhealthy stuff!

This KOA was so barren after coming from the Pacific Northwest

On Wednesday, we continued on to Victorville going over the Tehachapi Mountains. We have zigzagged so much that my master said we have traveled 1900 miles already and we are only in California! Good grief, at this rate, it will take months to get across the United States. I think they need to rethink this!

This was a neat looking building in Tehachapi
Thursday was Thanksgiving. We drove from Apple Valley where my Mrs. Master's nephew lives to Palm Springs where her brother lives. We took their son, Travis with us, but we couldn't take Mercedes, his new puppy. I really liked this little squirt and I had gotten to play with her and the other 2 dogs. I also got to chase a few cats. There is a lot of action at Travis' house!

This is Mercedes. Isn't she a looker?

Travis is very cool!

I got to eat some Turkey at Thanksgiving and I was truly thankful! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I know I did! YUM!!
