We had a lovely pet guest staying here last night. Her name is Keva. She's six years old, but she acted much younger. She was very enthusiastic! Her owner was very tall, and she was nice, too. My master says that she plays for something called the WNBA, whatever that means! In this picture I think that Keva is trying to stand up as tall as her owner! I hope that I get to meet a lot more new friends this summer, it's so much fun being the pet host here at the Blue Heron!

Today I got to go to the beach with my friend Molly! I found a stick and Molly threw it for me! After I chased the stick I took a break and lay down in the water. The cool ocean water felt wonderful on this warm Orcas Island day! We got to see a lot of boats! Molly said that we should go out on a boat sometime, but I am not so sure. Molly gets to go whale watching in July. She says that there are a lot of great places to do that here.

My friend Molly came over today. At first I thought that she was going to try to give me my nasty medicine, but then she came out of the kitchen with a giant scoop of peanut butter! And then another one! She gave me three scoops of peanut butter in total! It was delicious, though oddly crunchy. Hmm, I wonder why that was? So, naturally, when I saw Molly take a sheet full of wonderful smelling oatmeal raisin cookies out of the oven, I assumed that they were for me! Well, apparently the cookies are only for the guests. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed, but I know the rules. I like to make the guests happy!
Well, I guess that I will go and take a nap so that I can dream about peanut butter and cookies!

Bali is a big girl! She arrived as a pet guest today at the Blue Heron B&B.
At first I thought, "Oh, my! Is she going to be trouble?" She stared into my steely brown eyes. I stood still. She came to sniff. I stood still. Then, all of a sudden, she was hopping around like a little puppy. Well, not exactly LITTLE. She weighs 105 pounds! Her Master assured me she was playing. I wasn't sure, but I knew that she needed to know who was boss here. She is a smart girl. It wasn't long before she was bowing down to me, Pulaski, Pet Host extraordinaire.
